Everything you put into your mind, every thought, every word, every action gets registered into your subconscious, and those deposits actually create who you are. Here’s what’s interesting about the way the mind works, our subconscious mind completely controls our success. It’s Infinitely more powerful than your conscious mind. The subconscious mind believes and acts upon every single thing you tell it. So if you tell yourself you’re broke, you’re tired, you hate your job, your subconscious mind figures out a way to manifest those results in your life. If you begin to tell yourself you’re wealthy, you’re energized, you’re happy; your subconscious begins doing everything in its power to create that reality. Here’s another trick. Your subconscious mind does not know the difference between a truth and a lie. It simply does its best to carry out exactly what you’ve programmed it to believe. So when you say, "I’m sexy, I’m confident, I’m successful," your conscious mind may be telling you you’re full of it, but your subconscious, which is much more powerful, takes those words as a command, and begins to work out a way for you to be all of those things. Affirmations are an intentional form of self-talk aimed at instilling positive messages. They are typically one or two sentence positive statements spoken or read with repetition. Positive thinking a simple way to shift your focus and self talk toward more empowering communication. By saying, thinking, or reading positive statements you are emphasizing the truths that you want to live by. The more you can feel the reality of your new thoughts in an authentic way the greater their power. Life is a process, not a destination. Go at this with intention and trust that you are exactly where you need to be. Have fun with affirmations. Sing them, color them, whisper them, allow yourself to be swept up in their joy. One of the most important things you need, in order to make your goals a reality, is a strong support system of like-minded, POSITIVE people! If you want to take your life to the next level, but you're surrounded by people who dismiss your dreams or fill your head with negative chatter, these "friends" can hold you back more than you may realize. Now, I'm not saying you should "fire" all of your friends! Limit the amount of time you spend with people who bring you down, and spend MORE time with those who lift you up and will help support you on your success journey.
